Copier Program

The Copier Program was designed to bring the latest in copier technology to MSU departments through a managed program that eliminates the hassle, ensures a quality product supported by excellent service, and secures an attractive price per copy that remains fixed for five years.

Printing Services is pleased to announce a new contract with Konica Minolta-Albin to offer this comprehensive program to the MSU campus. A new Web site was developed to make the process as easy as possible and is available at copierprogram.msu.edu.

The new program includes:

• A variety of black-and-white and color models, all with copy, print, scan, and fax functionality.
• A range of accessories, such as finishers and paper decks, that can be added to fit a variety of needs.
• Support from Printing Services, including coordinating the acquisition, payment of invoices, and billing .
• Access to the Copier Program intranet to update your account, check billing history, order supplies, and request service.

The Copier Program is the only program at MSU that enables departments to obtain a copier without actually purchasing the machine. When comparing the program to purchasing a machine, consider the following benefits:

• The cost per copy will not increase during the five year term of the agreement (no escalating service costs).
• The cost per copy will decrease by 20 percent when the lifetime volume commitment is reached.
• Prices include the machine, service, and supplies (excluding paper).
• There are no up-front costs or capital investments required.
• Machines can be upgraded or downgraded if department needs change.
