MSU Board of Trustees to meet May 16
EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, in the Board Room of the Hannah Administration Building.
Following are several items the board will consider.
- The board will be asked to approve the creation of a new executive position of vice president for advancement.
- Board members will be asked to approve contracts for several major projects, including the construction of a new MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center and the razing of 34 Spartan Village Apartment buildings no longer in use.
- The board will be asked to consider revisions to the university’s bylaws.
Other agenda items include reports from the president and board chairman; a gifts, grants and contracts report; and other personnel actions.
